Clinical Background & Philosophy

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 2024, earning Presidential Scholar Honours and recognition as a finalist for the Clinical Excellence Award. Prior to beginning my chiropractic education in California, I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Lethbridge and Lethbridge College, building a strong foundation in science, movement, and human performance.

My path to chiropractic care was shaped by personal experience. As a very active child who loved playing sports, I developed persistent back pain and later learned I had Scheuermann’s Disease. The pain was limiting and disruptive until I sought chiropractic care. That experience was life-changing—it relieved my pain and allowed me to return to the activities I loved, pain-free. It also sparked a lifelong interest in the human body and ultimately inspired my career as a chiropractor.

About Me Hello, my name is Ethan Merriman. I was born and raised in Lethbridge, and I have always had a strong connection to the community. I am a lifelong hockey fan and played with Lethbridge Minor Hockey throughout my childhood. I began my post-secondary education at the University of Lethbridge, where I studied Kinesiology, before continuing my education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy working out, playing golf, and watching sports. Staying active has always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy helping others do the same. Chiropractic care has also been a significant part of my own life. It has helped me manage aches and pains, stay active, and perform at my best. My experiences with chiropractic care played an important role in my decision to pursue a career in the profession. I am excited to return home and serve the Lethbridge and surrounding communities.
